Melissa began as a champion rollerskater, but moving to TV at the age of 16. Her first role, Angel Brooks in the Australian "Home and Away", was one that won her some awards and attracted attention for her skills. After a few roles on minor projects and TV appearances (including Friends, Monk and Charmed), Melissa became known to American fans as Lauren Reed (the evil chick) on TV's Alias. The past couple years Melissa has appeared in the films The Amityville Horror, Derailed and Turistas. Currently, Melissa can be seen in Music Within, WAZ and 30 Days of Night.
